Artemisia Unfiltered is run by Artemisia, a photographer with five years of experience across a range of subjects and shooting conditions. This site exists because of a simple frustration: when she was starting out, practical and straightforward photography information was hard to find. Most resources were either too vague, buried in unnecessary filler, or written to sell something. Artemisia Unfiltered is her attempt to build the resource she wished had existed — honest, useful, and free of fluff.

What This Site Is

Artemisia Unfiltered is a photography utility and guide site focused on the questions photographers actually search for: camera settings for specific situations, focal length comparisons, how calculators work in practice, and why certain technical choices matter.

The name comes from Artemisia — a painter associated with unflinching directness. The "unfiltered" refers to the editorial approach: practical information without the padding, vague recommendations, or sponsored product placement that has become common across photography content.
